Itzhaq Beit-Arieh (1930–2012) was an Israeli archaeologist specializing in the study of the Negev and Sinai during the Bronze and Iron Ages. He served as a professor at the Institute of Archaeology at Tel Aviv University from 1971 until his passing in 2012. Born in Kovno, he studied at the Herzliya Gymnasium, fought in the War of Independence, and contributed significantly to archaeological research, including directing excavations and publishing findings on various ancient sites in Israel.
