He was elected to the Court of Cassation on February 21, 1980, and became the president of the 13th Civil Chamber on May 17, 1990. Later, on January 21, 1997, he was appointed as the first deputy president of the Court of Cassation. He retired on April 26, 2001, after reaching the age limit and has written various works.
