Isaac "Isaco" Abitbol was an Argentine musician and bandoneonist, born on November 29, 1917, in Alvear, Corrientes, and known as the Patriarch of Chamamé. He is recognized as a pioneer of chamamé and litoral music in Argentina. In 1942, he co-founded Cuarteto Santa Ana with Ernesto Montiel, the first chamamé ensemble to gain widespread fame. He also performed with groups like Trío de Oro and Trío Pancho Cué. His discography includes 21 albums featuring hits such as 'La Calandria' and 'General Madariaga'.
