Irma Aleksandrovna Lapis (September 18, 1927 – January 20, 2004) was a Soviet and Russian art historian and Egyptologist. She served as the head of the Ancient East sector at the State Hermitage Museum and specialized in ancient Egyptian sculpture. Her work contributed significantly to the understanding of the ancient art and culture of Egypt, and she was influential in her field during her lifetime.
