Iris 'Fluffy' Bower (1915-2005) was a British nurse recognized for her service during the Second World War. She was among the few women present in Normandy during the initial D-Day operations and provided care at the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. Before D-Day, Bower worked in two RAF hospitals that were targets of bombing raids. Her commitment and contributions to nursing in challenging conditions left a significant mark during the war.
