Inna Inalovna Kashezheva (February 12, 1944 – May 14, 2000) was a Soviet and Russian poet and translator known for her work with Kabardian poets. She was a prominent, youthful figure in the so-called 'street poetry' movement of the sixties. Kashezheva authored nearly three hundred popular songs performed by artists such as Eduard Khil, Maia Kristalinskaya, and Joseph Kobzon. Some of her notable songs include 'Ships Are Again Floating Somewhere' and 'Rain.' She also published twenty poetry books during her career.
