Sirkka-Inkeri Mertanen, born on June 29, 1949, in Tervo, is a Finnish actress known for her 40-year career at Tampereen Teatteri, which lasted from the mid-1970s until her retirement in 2015. She graduated from the University of Helsinki in 1974, studied acting at the Finnish Theatre Academy, and became a theatre curator in 1996. Mertanen is recognized for her monologue performances and made appearances in various theatre productions. In 2016, she began filming for the soap opera Salatut elämät, where she portrays the character Dahlia Mustavaara.
