Inger Margareta Egler Törnlund, born on August 26, 1935, in Linköping, was a notable Swedish presenter and broadcaster at Sveriges Radio/Svenska Televisionen. She began her career in 1966, contemporaneously with pioneering figures like Anita Lindman and Alicia Lundberg. Though there were plans to discontinue the role of presenters in TV2 in 1969, protests prevented this. Egler later joined Utbildningsradion and became a prominent figure in TV2 by 1979. She trained new presenters and continued her work until retiring in 1997. She was married twice and had a prominent career in Swedish media.
