Carl Pontus Ingemar Ingers (1902-1983) was a Swedish dialect researcher and docent at Lund University. He earned his doctorate in philosophy in Lund in 1939. Ingers worked with the Skånska landsmålsföreningen from 1925 to 1930 and was an assistant and archivist at the landsmålsarkivet in Lund until 1968. He served as secretary for the Sydsvenska ortnamnssällskapet from 1942 to 1969, and was involved with the Bara härads hembygdsförening.
