Imre Kocsis was a Hungarian military figure born on November 3, 1910, in Balatonaderices, Hungary. He served as a volunteer in the Foreign Legion and the Free French Forces. Kocsis was recognized as a Compagnon de la Libération for his contributions during World War II. He was killed by shell fragments on December 3, 1944, in Bourbach-le-Haut, near Thann, in the Haut-Rhin region of France.
