Ikunosuke Ōmori (June 6, 1932 - December 12, 2007) was a Japanese researcher of modern literature, known especially for his studies on authors such as Yasunari Kawabata, Tatsuji Miyoshi, and Osamu Dazai. He was a professor at Sapporo University and became an emeritus professor after retiring in 2003. Ōmori graduated from Saitama Prefectural Chichibu High School in 1951 and earned his degree from Kokugakuin University in 1955. Over his career, he held various teaching positions, contributing significantly to the field of modern Japanese literature.
