Alhaji Ibrahim Ben Kargbo, known as I.B. Kargbo, is a Sierra Leonean journalist and politician born on October 18, 1944. He serves as the Member of Parliament for constituency 030 in Bombali District and is a close ally of presidents Ernest Bai Koroma and Ahmad Tejan Kabbah. With a Bachelor's degree in journalism and a diploma from John New Homes School of Journalism, he is the owner of The New Citizen, one of Sierra Leone's most read newspapers. Kargbo has also been a vocal opponent of the Public Order Act of 1965.
