Ian H. Gotlib is an American psychologist known for his research in affective disorders and depression. He completed his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Waterloo in 1981. Currently, he is a professor of psychology at Stanford University and serves as the director of the Stanford Neurodevelopment, Affect, and Psychopathology Laboratory. His contributions to the field have been recognized with the APA Award for Distinguished Scientific Contributions to Psychology in 2013.
