Hyo-sŏn Ŏ (also known as 오히ョ선 in Korean) was a South Korean children’s literature writer, poet, educator, and essayist born on November 2, 1925, and passed away on May 15, 2004. Her family origin is from the Gyeonggi Province's Yu clan. Early in her career, she used the pen name Lee Ho-sin. She is best known for her contribution to children's literature and particularly recognized as the lyricist of 'Blue Heart, White Heart.'
