Hüseyin Eken was a prominent Turkish judge, born in Tosya and graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 1978. He started his judicial career as a candidate judge in Ankara and held various positions, including president of the Heavy Penal Courts in Mardin and Sivas. Eken was elected as a member of the Supreme Court on March 16, 2003, serving on its 11th Criminal Chamber and later its presidency. He also served as a member of the Supreme Electoral Council. Eken was involved in significant cases including those concerning high-profile corruption and terrorism.
