Sir Hugh Norwood Robson (1917-1977) was a distinguished Scottish physician and university administrator. He served as Vice-Chancellor of the University of Sheffield from 1966 to 1974, and later as Principal of the University of Edinburgh from 1974 until his death in 1977. His legacy includes the Hugh Robson Building and the Hugh Robson Computer Laboratory at the University of Edinburgh, both named in his honor, recognizing his contributions to academia and medical education.
