Jesse Walker, nicknamed 'Hoss', was an American baseball player and manager in the Negro leagues, active from the 1920s to the 1950s. He was born on September 10, 1904, in Austin, Texas, and started his career playing for the Bacharach Giants in 1929. Over a 20-year playing career, he became a notable manager, especially recognized for leading the East team in the East–West All-Star Games in 1949 and 1950.
