Horst Rippert (May 24, 1922 – April 19, 2013, Wiesbaden) was a Nazi pilot of the Luftwaffe during World War II, later becoming a journalist and sports reporter for ZDF. He gained media attention in 2008 when he claimed responsibility for the mysterious disappearance of French writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry in 1944. Rippert was the elder brother of the deceased singer Ivan Rebroff, who focused on Russian folk music.
