Hisashi Iwakura (June 30, 1936 - October 11, 2018) was a Japanese painter known for his work in traditional Japanese art. He was a former member of the Japan Art Academy and served as an executive director of the Nitten (Japan Exhibition). He also held the title of emeritus professor at Kyoto City University of Arts, contributing significantly to the art community in Japan.
