Hiroshi Ichikawa (May 2, 1931 - August 17, 2002) was a Japanese philosopher and body theorist, known for his expertise in French philosophy, especially the works of Henri Bergson. As an emeritus professor at Meiji University, he developed a unique philosophical perspective focused on understanding human existence through the lens of body theory. His notable works include 'The Body as Spirit' (1975), 'The Structure of the Body' (1984), and 'The Philosophy of the Intermediate' (1990).
