Hiromichi Koike is a Japanese bassist and photographer born on February 8, 1961, in Saitama Prefecture. He began playing bass at the age of 13 and was part of a band named 'ZERO' which debuted in 1979. As a freelance musician, he has worked extensively as a studio musician and session bassist. Simultaneously pursuing photography, he started capturing live concerts in 1998. He also runs a live bar called 'Booster's Bar' in Nakano, Tokyo, where he performs and teaches bass lessons. Koike continues to be active in the music industry.
