Hideo Isonaga (January 17, 1921 - July 27, 1976) was a poet from Incheon, Korea. After attending various schools, he enrolled in the aesthetic department at Tokyo Imperial University. He served in the military during the war and returned in 1946. He published several poetry collections and founded the poetry magazine 'Rakuda.' Isonaga was influenced by the post-war social climate and spoke to the spirit of workers of his time. In 1976, he passed away, and a poetry festival named after him is held in his honor every five years in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
