Herluf Eigil Christensen (1924–1970) was a Danish athlete known for his achievements in middle-distance running. He gained attention by winning the 400 meters at the first Danish youth championships in 1942. Christensen participated in the 1948 Olympics but suffered a serious injury during his heat that curtailed his promising career. Despite this setback, he returned to competition in 1951 and earned further accolades, securing three Danish national championship medals in 400 meters throughout his athletic career.
