Henny van Geest was a Dutch politician, affiliated with the CHU and later the CDA. He became mayor of Abbenbroek, Oudenhoorn, and Zuidland in August 1974, succeeding N.P. Kremer. In 1980, these municipalities merged with parts of Heenvliet and Geervliet to form Bernisse, where he served as mayor until his retirement in February 1992. He passed away in mid-2006 at the age of 79, and a street in Zuidland is named after him.
