Henning Jensen Lehmann is a Danish theologian and professor emeritus, born on June 25, 1933, in Gårslev Sogn. He earned a cand.theol degree in 1960 and later a dr.phil. in 1975 for his dissertation on early church sermons from the 4th and 5th centuries. Lehmann served as the dean of the Faculty of Theology at Aarhus University from 1971 to 1974 and 1980 to 1983, and acted as rector from 1983 to 2002. In 2002, he became a professor emeritus in Eastern Christian Studies.
