He is a musician and guitarist with a diverse musical repertoire that spans rock, blues, country, jazz, sones, guajiras, and pasillos. His career began in the early 1970s as the leader of the influential rock band Los Apóstoles. He later became a member of the experimental music group Promesas Temporales, showcasing his versatility and contribution to Ecuadorian music.
