Héctor Borla was an Argentine painter and illustrator born on May 6, 1937, in Esperanza, Santa Fe, Argentina. He gained prominence through his oil paintings, notably series focused on Butterflies, Postal-stamps, and the Wives of Henry VIII. His works were exhibited in major cities such as Buenos Aires, London, Dallas, Mexico City, and Miami. He passed away on January 11, 2002, in Buenos Aires. In memoriam, the art museum in his hometown was renamed in his honor.
