Heather Anne Mills (born January 12, 1968) is a former English model, media personality, businesswoman, and activist. She gained public attention in 1993 as a model and later suffered a traffic accident involving a police motorcycle in London, leading to the amputation of her left leg below the knee. Despite this, she continued her modeling career with a prosthetic leg and shared her story with the press. Her marriage to Sir Paul McCartney in 2002 brought her further fame, and she became a prominent animal rights advocate, among other charitable endeavors.
