Hasyim Wahid, also known as Gus Iim, was a notable figure in Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) and a member of an influential family in Indonesia. Born on October 30, 1953, he was the son of Wahid Hasjim and brother to Abdurrahman Wahid and Salahuddin Wahid. Hasyim held significant experience in government, serving as an official at the National Banking Recovery Agency (BPPN). He was also involved with the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle and the Family Foundation for Unity.
