Harry Rigby was an American theatre producer and writer born around 1925 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He made his Broadway debut in 1951 with the musical 'Make a Wish.' He achieved greater success with 'John Murray Anderson's Almanac,' featuring a diverse cast. After a decade, he returned as a production associate for Edward Albee's adaptation of 'The Ballad of the Sad Cafe.' He was notable for reviving 'No, No, Nanette' in 1971, which sparked a nostalgia trend and faced a lawsuit affecting his credit but enjoyed further success with the revival of 'Irene.'
