Harry Mears was an Australian rules footballer who played as a rover in the Victorian Football League (VFL) for Collingwood and South Melbourne. He joined Collingwood from the league seconds, playing 19 games in the 1945 season but often starting on the bench. In 1946, he transferred to South Melbourne, where he had a notable season as the leading goal-kicker with 32 goals and polled 11 Brownlow Medal votes. He subsequently coached at Mortlake after spending two more seasons at South Melbourne.
