As the last surviving founder of the MRS, he contributed significantly to the field, gaining international recognition. He served as marketing director and deputy managing director at the Thomson Organisation, influencing marketing practices in print and broadcasting. Acknowledged for his work, he received the MRS Gold Medal in 1988 and the Mackintosh Medal in 2004, recognizing his long-term service in the industry.
