Harald Winter, originally named Igor Borganoff, was a Finnish musician, accompanist, and orchestra leader born on April 1, 1901, in Saint Petersburg, Russia. He served as an accompanist to J. Alfred Tanner between 1920 and 1921, becoming distinguished in this role alongside notable contemporaries. In the 1930s, he led the orchestra Matti Haran Melodi-orkesteri with vocalist Matti Jurva, recording several tracks in 1931. Winter also performed as a pianist at a memorial concert for Tanner on March 1, 1947. He passed away on January 30, 1952.
