Hans Moldenhauer was a prominent German tennis player born on April 10, 1901, in Pankow. He was among the best German players of the 1920s, participating in the Davis Cup 22 times for Germany between 1927 and 1929, winning 11 singles and 3 doubles matches. He was the international German tennis champion in 1926 and 1927, and in 1928 reached the finals. Moldenhauer also won a mixed doubles championship in 1925 with Cilly Aussem. Tragically, his life ended in a car accident on December 29, 1929, in Berlin.
