Gyula Károlyi (May 12, 1907 – September 2, 1942) was a Hungarian mechanical engineer and a member of the Károlyi family. He was married to Paulette Horthy and was known for his moderate political views, supporting the existing constitutional order and Anglo-Saxon orientation, while opposing extreme right-wing and pro-German politics. After the death of István Horthy, he was seen as a potential candidate for the deputy governor's position, given his close relationship with the governor. He tragically died in a plane crash.
