György Martos is a former Hungarian speed skater born on February 20, 1943, in Budapest. He was a nine-time national champion in the allround event and a five-time champion in sprint competitions, competing internationally from 1962 to 1976. Martos placed 29th in the 1964 European Allround Championships and 30th in the World Championships the same year. He competed in the 1968 Winter Olympics, finishing 38th in the 500m and 27th in the 1500m. His brother Mihály also represented Hungary in Olympic speed skating.
