He is particularly recognized for his collaboration with George Box on the autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) model, commonly referred to as the Box-Jenkins model. Jenkins significantly contributed to the Box-Jenkins methodology for time series analysis, making a lasting impact in the field of statistics and engineering.
