Edward Guy Trice Morgan was a British screenwriter born on February 6, 1908, and he passed away on July 20, 1964. After graduating from Merton College, Oxford, he worked as a journalist and film critic. During WWII, he served in the RNVR and was wounded, becoming a POW. Morgan wrote the novel The Captive Heart, leading to a successful career in screenwriting, with works including Only Ghosts Can Live and Adventures of the Sea Hawk. He co-authored the play Albert R.N. and had a daughter.
