Educated at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and the Opera and Music College in Würzburg, she debuted as a soloist at the Stora Teatern in Gothenburg at age 20. Known as the 'Nightingale from Svanskog,' she has performed in about 30 operas and operettas, and has also worked as a chanson singer, interpreting works by notable Swedish poets.
