Gunnar Uotila (January 9, 1913 – June 14, 1997) was a Finnish sculptor renowned for his wood sculptures. He learned woodworking from his father, a carpenter, and primarily used various types of wood, along with stone and bronze. Uotila studied at the Taideteollinen keskuskoulu from 1934 to 1937. His works were first displayed in 1940 and featured in numerous exhibitions in Finland and abroad. He created public sculptures in many churches and had a significant presence in Finnish art museums.
