Krogsbøll joined the resistance in 1943 as part of the Nybodergruppen, engaging in activities like distributing illegal pamphlets and participating in sabotage missions, including the destruction of a German signal transmitter in 1944. He became a foreman at H.P. Mikkelsen in 1946.
