Erik Axel Gunnar Aniansson (1924-1984) was a Swedish chemist renowned for his contributions to physical chemistry and applied nuclear chemistry. He completed his engineering degree at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in 1947 and held research positions there until 1962. In 1963, he became a professor at the University of Gothenburg. His research encompassed surface chemical phenomena, isotope methods, and interactions between charged particles and molecules. He was buried in the memorial grove at Norra begravningsplatsen in Stockholm.
