Guðbjörg Norðfjörð Elíasdóttir, born on April 8, 1972, is a former basketball player from Iceland and currently serves as the chairman of the Icelandic Basketball Federation. She achieved significant recognition in the sport, including being named the Icelandic Women's Basketball Player of the Year in 1999. Guðbjörg is a seven-time member of the Úrvalsdeild kvenna All-First Team and has won three Icelandic championships and four Icelandic Cups. She played for the national team from 1990 to 2002 and was honored as one of the top twelve players of the 20th century.
