Grzegorz Marian Krasomski (1944-2020) was a notable Polish gynecologist and obstetrician. He served as the head of the Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic at the Institute of Mother and Child Health in Łódź and was vice-dean for Midwifery at the Medical University of Łódź. Krasomski promoted the use of the TAC suture in Poland as a method to combat cervical incompetence in women, performing the procedure on 128 women. He published over 250 works, received multiple awards, including the Knight's Cross of the Order of Rebirth of Poland, and contributed significantly to medical education.
