Gregory Dominic Abowd, born on September 12, 1964, is a notable computer scientist recognized for his contributions to ubiquitous computing, software engineering, and technologies benefitting individuals with autism. He is currently the Dean of the College of Engineering and a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northeastern University. Prior to this role, he served as the J.Z. Liang Professor in the School of Interactive Computing at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he has been a faculty member since 1994.
