Greg Allen Theakston (1953–2019) was an American comics artist and illustrator known for his work with various publishers. He was a significant figure in the independent comics scene, recognized for publishing as a comics historian under his Pure Imagination imprint. Theakston was also the creator of the Theakstonizing process, a technique utilized in comics restoration. Additionally, he occasionally used the pseudonym Earl P. Wooten. His contributions to the field have had a lasting impact on comic art and scholarship.
