James Gordon Easson was a Scottish footballer born on 2 July 1928 in Windygates. He played as a goalkeeper for East Fife and Worcester City. Easson made his first team debut during the 1950 Scottish Cup Final, stepping in due to the injury of the first two choice goalkeepers. Although he conceded a goal just 30 seconds into the match, it marked his entry into professional football. He passed away on 26 November 2009, in Kirkcaldy, at the age of 81.
