Gordon Brooks Wright (December 31, 1934 – February 14, 2007) was an American conductor born in Brooklyn. He studied music at Worcester University and earned a master's degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1961. He studied conducting under Karl Meldes at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. Wright was the music director of the Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra and a music teacher at the University of Alaska. He founded the Arctic Chamber Orchestra in 1970 and the Resnichek Society in 1982. He was also an environmental activist and established the Fairbanks Environmental Center in 1971.
