His significant contributions were to the Tamil humour magazine Ananda Vikatan, where he created political cartoons, cover designs, and illustrated columns. He illustrated notable serials and worked closely with writers such as Devan and Saavi. Later, he founded his own advertising agency before becoming a freelance illustrator. He received numerous awards, including the Kalaimamani and the Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing his influence in Tamil art and literature.
