Golden Diskó Ship, born Theresa Stroetges on December 5, 1982, in Viersen, is a German multi-instrumentalist known for her experimental pop music. She studied musicology, Scandinavian studies, and sound studies in Berlin. Her debut album, Prehistoric Ghost Party, was recorded at the studio of the Krautrock band Faust. She also creates music videos for many of her songs and incorporates original visuals during live performances. Additionally, she is involved in the psychedelic band Soft Grid and the improvisation group Epiphany Now.
